The competition’s aim is to ensure prospective students have access to data about the outcomes of subjects and Higher Education providers. This is to help them make informed decisions about where and what to study.

UK householders and businesses generate around 200 million tonnes of waste each year. Nationally and globally, waste presents a real challenge.
Fund Name: Meridian 2: connected vehicles data exchange
Project Length: Up to 12 months
Project Value: Share of £5M
UK businesses or research and technology organisations can apply for a share of up to £5 million to create the world’s best connected vehicles data exchange or trading platform.
Fund Name: Inspect, maintain and repair in extreme environments
Project Length: It must start by January 2019 and be completed by March 2021.
Project Value: Total costs between £2 million and £6 million
Individuals can apply to join a 5-day collaborative workshop to develop project proposals to use robotic and AI systems to service infrastructures in challenging environments. Projects will be funded by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
