Opportunity Overview

• Role: Content development to attract new business (lead generation)
• Salary: £23,000-£26,000 based on experience 
• Position: Full Time 35 hours a week 
• Location: Office-based or remote (Initial minimum requirement of 2 days in the office per month during onboarding)

We are looking for a Marketing Executive with a go-getter attitude and a passion for innovation to bring fresh mixed media ideas to the table for B2B content. This role is suitable for someone who has 2-3 years of experience in marketing. Although content generation is a key focus of the role, you will also be exposed to and involved in the continual improvement of marketing operations. For the right person, this role offers the progression to building and managing a segment of the marketing department.

Your main responsibilities will be…

• Be the go-to person for content generation ideas to attract new leads. Actively put forward and action content ideas alongside the Marketing Manager based on marketing trends and audience needs. 
• Use your knowledge of content mediums to bring the fun to content generation. Seek ways to make things better, don’t settle for the norm.
• Be the champion of understanding what top of the funnel leads are looking for in terms of content information and format. 
• Storytelling the successes of our clients and also Granted Consultancy to help external audiences understand the funding journey and enhance our brand reputation. You can do this in any way you see fit and will have the opportunity to experiment.
• Develop content such as funding opportunity summaries, blogs, case studies, video, guides/reports, or infographics for marketing channels (social media, email marketing and google my business). 
• Have the ability to communicate and manage project elements that have been subcontracted to an external marketing agency. Being able to hold strong in your vision and see it through to completion. 
• Regularly update the website with funding opportunities and developed content with SEO in mind (Blogs, case studies).
• Create weekly and quarterly emails for top-of-the-funnel email marketing mailing lists, updating them on new funding opportunities or preferred content. 
• Provide active support in updating and segmenting data for mailing lists via CRM system to ensure new entries are receiving preferred email marketing content.
• Be naturally curious about the market, regularly scan Client, Partner, Competitor, Governing Bodies, and wider Stakeholder channels to identify novel content or market intelligence that can be shared across platforms. 
• Report monthly on performance of marketing channels, make suggestions for improvement linking to achievement of the overarching KPIs of the department. 
• Support general marketing administration task i.e CRM entries from report downloads or updating competitor monitoring database.

• The Adobe Suite – Spark, Photoshop,  Illustrator, or Premiere Pro 
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Linkedin
• Twitter
• Google suite
• SEO copywriting 
• Working to deadlines 
• Managing your own workload effectively 
• Effectively and confidently communicate within a team (internally or externally)
• Being confident in working independently or in a team
• Managing multiple projects

Desirable experience

• CIM Level 4 qualified

• Developing content strategies that support the overarching marketing strategy, contributing to company growth. 
• Want to progress to building and leading the lead generation segment of the marketing department.

• Salary: £23,000-£26,000 based on experience 
• Position: Full Time 35 hours a week 
• Location: Office-based or remote (Initial minimum requirement of 2 days in the office per month during onboarding)
• Holiday: 20 days annual holiday plus public holidays, plus an additional 1 day off for your birthday and no holiday used towards Christmas break
