Our Approach To Grant Writing
Initial phase to understand your business and aspirations so that the Granted team can best match your project(s) to the most suitable grant funds. Your chance of securing grant funding improves the more precisely your project fits with the scope of the grant fund.
Preparation phase where information is gathered and organised to lay the foundation for the development of compelling grant applications. The Grant Portfolio can be updated and re-used for future grant funding applications, as well as investment decks, business plans, and business plans.
Project Scoping phase where we can leverage our network of contacts and partners to identify potential partners, collaborators and sub-contractors that will strengthen your bid. The majority of UK and EU funders still want to see a collaborative project with academic and industrial partners.
Development phase using the creative and technical writing skills of the Granted team through the processes of curating grant applications to identified funds. You will have the opportunity to comment and feedback on the grant applications during this phase, but we also understand you are busy so will keep this element streamlined.
Once the grant applications have been assessed and an initial offer letter has been sent, there are some due diligence elements that the experienced Granted team will help prepare. Your project is effectively funded at this point and we will help you navigate the systems and prepare the required paperwork.
Delivery phase where you might seek our support on the preparation of financial and project progress reports that will form the key evidence to drawdown the funding. Our experience of working with UK and EU funding bodies means we understand what evidence they want to see and how it should be best presented to speed up the drawdown of funding.
