Project Description

BPP-Tech are a well-established engineering SME with a long track record in innovative product development, R&D, and project management services across the energy, insurance, utilities, and transport sectors. BPP, trading as BonaCaeli, wanted to scale up their existing ‘Air-MassSanitiser’ (AMS) to develop a proof-of-concept for an Industrial Air-Sanitiser (IAS). The new product would use a combination of intense Ultraviolet-C radiation and an innovative bio-wash scrubber to limit the transmission of airborne communicable diseases, including Covid 19, and improve indoor air quality. Other AMS systems are either too small for large rooms or require areas to be unoccupied to prevent harm. BPP’s IAS simultaneously sanitises large indoor spaces and improves air quality at high efficiency and low cost.
