Who can apply?

RIMA will support the development and deployment of robotics I&M applications with grants through one type of action: Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE).

Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE) consist of developing, testing, validating the technical and economic viability of a robotics-based representative model or prototype system to be applied in ‘Target-Use Domain’ operational environment. Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE) may receive up to € 150K EU Funding per RIE (duration up to 14 months, amount per consortium).

Industry sectors covered in RIMA

Developing, testing and validating the technical and economic viability of a robotic system prototype demonstrated in an operational environment.

Industries: Water, Energy, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Transport Routes, Transport Cargo & Mobility.
